| Description: | Dry construction builders are specialists in interior outfitting. They are proficient in the entire range of services for manufacturing and fitting complete wall, floor and ceiling systems. This includes lightweight walls, suspended ceilings, ceiling panels and dry floors. It requires knowledge of thermal and acoustic insulation and fire protection as well as the ability to follow construction and assembly plans precisely. The materials used include timber, mineral wool, plasterboard and mineral fibreboard, metal profiles and prefabricated components. |

Insulation fitter/industrial insulation technician (m/f)
| Description: | Industrial insulation technicians are specialists in protection against heat, cold and noise and in passive fire protection on pipework, tanks, fittings, ceilings and walls. They work in industrial facilities such as oil refineries, power plants, breweries, cold stores and on board ships. They are proficient in the entire range of services from the assembly of supporting and load-bearing structures to quality control. This includes working with insulation material on facades or pipes as well as measuring, producing and fitting formed components. The materials used by industrial insulation technicians include mineral wool products, plastic foils, cellular glass, polyurethane, polystyrene and different kinds of sheet metal. |

| Description: | Construction mechanics are specialists for all types of metal constructions. They are proficient in the entire range of services from the manufacture and assembly of metal constructions right up to quality control. This includes manufacturing and fitting separate components made of sheet metal, metal profiles and pipes both manually and by machine. They have to work carefully and responsibly and follow construction and assembly plans exactly. |
