| Description: | Industrial clerks deal with commercial and business matters in a wide range of different departments, such as Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, HR or Finance and Accounting. Their work varies considerably depending on the department they are assigned to. In Purchasing for instance, industrial clerks request quotations and compare them. In Finance and Accounting, they prepare the paperwork for business transactions, enter postings and verify accounting entries. The apprentices at KAEFER work in different departments and therefore learn the whole range of activities. |

| Description: | Marketing communications clerks plan and develop communications activities. They observe and analyse markets, determine target groups and develop communication concepts based on the results. These can be both integrated campaigns, i.e. involving different media, or specific activities. Marketing communications staff ensure that all the activities are implemented properly. They not only organise and monitor the creative work, the budget and the production process, but are also responsible for media planning and quality control. Finally, they prepare the contracts for working with agencies, for example, and the purchase of rights and licences. |

| Description: | IT specialists are experts in Information Technology. They develop and programme software projects, analyse and plan IT systems and advise users. They also test applications, make alterations and develop user-friendly interfaces. They are always available to assist users by telephone and e-mail. |
